When you create an account, we store your email address and an authentication credential (a hashed password or an OAuth token if you use a third-party sign-in provider). We do not store your plain-text password.
As you use the app, we store the content you create:
All of this data belongs to you. Your content is private and is not shared with other users or third parties, except as described in this policy.
When you upload a pattern PDF or image and use the “Extract with AI” feature, we send the selected page images and extracted text to a third-party AI service to identify pattern details (fabric requirements, dimensions, etc.). This data is processed according to the AI provider's terms of service and is not used to train AI models.
You can always add patterns manually without using AI extraction.
We use third-party services for hosting, data storage, authentication, and analytics. These providers process your data according to their own privacy policies. We select providers with strong privacy and security practices and do not sell or share your data beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.
We collect usage data — including page views, feature usage, and session activity — to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. This data may be associated with your account for diagnostic purposes but is never sold or shared with advertisers.
We use cookies solely for authentication (keeping you signed in). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You can delete individual projects, patterns, photos, and other content at any time from within the app. Soft-deleted items are moved to Trash and can be restored or permanently removed.
If you would like your entire account and all associated data permanently deleted, please contact us at the email below. We will delete your account and all data within 30 days.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including access controls that ensure each user can only access their own data.
Authorized personnel may access your account data as needed to operate the Service, provide technical support, investigate reported issues, and ensure security and compliance. We limit this access to what is reasonably necessary and do not use your content for any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.
You may request a copy of all data we hold about you, or request its deletion, by contacting us. If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to access, rectification, erasure, and data portability.
The Service may contain links to third-party products or retailers, some of which may be affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect which products or retailers are shown to you. We do not share any of your personal data with affiliate partners.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top.
